„Groove Is In The
Heart“ Club Tour
In October 1990, Deee-Lite embarked on a small two month
club tour around the US and Europe to promote Groove Is In The Heart and
their newly released album World Clique. For financial reasons, they did
not have a live band. It was just the three of them including some dancers.
They used a Sony DAT machine for their backing tracks but Lady Miss Kier
did live vocals. Towa ran the tape, spun records and used a sampler.
Dimitry was on keyboards. The tour was a success. They finished the tour
with a New Year‘s Eve gig at the Palladium in New York.
