1990 PUBLICITY SHOTS
Deee-Lite promotional and
publicity shots for the release of their first album, World Clique. The
group was constantly changing their style with a new concept for each
album. Each concept was unique and original.

GROOVE IS IN THE HEART
TOUR
In October of 1990 Deee-Lite
went on a two month tour of small clubs to promote their hit single
Groove Is In the Heart and their newly released album World Clique. They
visited all major cities in the US and several countries in Europe as
well.

DEEE-LITE ALBUM COVERS
Deee-Lite released 5 albums
and dozens of singles, on vinyl or CD‘s. The artwork was always very
colorful, using psychedelic collages or kitsch and campy designs which
became a signature style for the group. Lady Miss Kier designed most of
the covers and album art herself with help from her band members off
course.

WIGSTOCK 1990
Deee-Lite appeared at the
Wigstock drag festival in 1990 and performed a couple of songs. The posed
for photographers following the gig.

WIGSTOCK 1991
Check out these fabulous
photographs of Lady Miss Kier at the 1991 Wigstock festival. Deee-Lite performed
there for the second time along with artist such as Lady Bunny, RuPaul
and Ebony Jet.

WIGSTOCK 1993
Lady Miss Kier and Dmitry
performed again at the Wigstock festival in 1993. They were working on
their third album Dewdrops In The Garden and came to test two new songs.
A very early preview of „Somebody“and „Say Ahhh. “ The album was released
the following year.

RIO DE JANEIRO - FIRST
LIVE GIG
This was Deee-Lite‘s first live
show with Bootsy Collins and a nine piece band. A prelude for the World
Clique tour. They got rave reviews for their lively performance and won
over critics who thought they were just another club band singing to
backing tracks. The gig took place in Rio De Janeiro in Brazil.

WORLD CLIQUE TOUR #1
